What trends in JavaScript
Alongside libraries and browser projects, this list regularly contains repositories that are not JavaScript software in the usual sense: collections of prompts, guides, configuration and “skills” for coding assistants. They are classified as JavaScript because GitHub ignores Markdown when choosing a repository’s language, and the little code they contain is a script.
Telling the two apart
The description usually makes it clear, and so does the repository page: a library has releases, a package name and an install line; a collection has mostly documents. Both can be useful, but they answer different needs. Projects written in TypeScript are not here; they have their own list.
For all languages together, see today’s list, this week or this month.
